Who we are

There are 492,176 UK pensioners worldwide who do not receive the annual increase to their UK state pension – 127,118 of whom live in Canada.
We are a not-for-profit, volunteer based organisation who offer their members assistance, support and information, to help them understand and claim the UK state pension they are entitled to, and for which they paid when they worked in the UK.

We act as a lobby and pressure group to persuade the UK government to stop the discriminatory practice of freezing pensions based on where you live in retirement.
The CABP can track its roots back to the early 1980’s – before the advent of telephone and computer technology – before the iPhone and before Windows. Technology has come a long way since then and so have we.
